The Sherwood Forest Association was formed in the summer of 1929 and has been active ever since. The elected members of the board of directors serve for three year terms. The board meets monthly in the homes of its members. Each May, we hold a general membership meeting for all of the residents of Sherwood Forest.

| vincent@sherwoodforestdetroit.org Vincent, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, along with his wife, Dawn, a Detroit native, joined the Sherwood Forest community in August 2022. Both he and his wife love all things travel, food, and drink related. If there’s a new spot in metro Detroit, more than likely they’ve met the Joneses! Vincent is an independent Healthcare Operations & Strategy Consultant who enjoys an active lifestyle of boxing, kettlebells, lawn care, weekend DIY, and trips to Target. |

| christina@sherwoodforestdetroit.org I, along with my husband and two young adult children have been a resident of Sherwood Forest since July 2009. Over the past 13 ½ years, I have come to value our neighborhood and the community of people that help it grow. There are two main reasons why I desire to become a member of the Sherwood Forest Board of Directors. The first reason is to become better informed and to work as a team with the current members in helping other neighbors receive information regarding the community in which we live and the surrounding areas. I firmly believe that when people are informed they grow and feel a part of the community. The second reason is simply to serve. Whether it’s walking door to door, making phone calls, sending correspondence, or coordinating events, I am a team player and will do my part to help and support the community. Professionally, I have served as an educator for the past 28 years and I am currently employed as an Early Childhood Consultant with the Wayne County Intermediate School District, Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA). |

She is a retired English Teacher committed to serving the Sherwood Forest community. As an advocate for clean and safe neighborhoods, she aspires to ensure that the property values of Sherwood Forest are preserved and protected. She enjoys journaling, reading, traveling, and grandiose good times. LaSumitra Dasgupta- Boyce embraces the creed/philosophy of “The True Gentleperson” – always extend the best of who you are to anyone regardless of who they are. He loves spending time with his wife and 2 beautiful kids, riding bikes and walking through the neighborhood. He is a lifelong Detroiter and a product of the area. He is a graduate of both UD Jesuit high school and the University of Detroit Mercy. He is an engineer by discipline with 20+ yrs. of project/ program management and automotive experience. He loves this area and wants to help sustain its beauty while continuing to help make it the best community that it can be. |

| mikefisher@sherwoodforestdetroit.org Mike grew up on the east side of Detroit and after stops in Ann Arbor (college) and Royal Oak, moved to Chicago with his wife for 21 years where they started their family of 7 children. After moving back to Detroit in 2020, Mike’s wife volunteered him to join the board. Becoming a west-sider has been a new and exciting adventure. Mike has an aerospace engineering degree and worked at Ford and as an options trader in Chicago. He currently heads a small video technology platform company. Mike has extensive experience with volunteer organizations and leading teams. In his spare time, he is personally restoring their 1927 home to it’s former glory, everything from plumbing, masonry, carpentry, plaster restoration, and painting. |
